Females of Racing Friday-Tasha Truckle

Tasha Truckle

 

This Is Natasha Truckle, she would rather me call her Tasha so Tasha it is.  Tasha is 12 soon to be 13 on August 23.. Tasha drives a Stack Brothers made junior dragster with a Rino 3.5 block engine.  This is Tasha's second year of racing which she absolutely loves to do.  Her dream is to drive a top fuel dragster with her personal goal is setting the fastest ET.  As well as a .0000 reaction time on the light.  She loves her time at St Thomas Raceway park, she loves meeting new and interesting people and hangs out with all her friends.  

One of her best highlights was obtaining a reaction time of .0004, golf cart racing, riding the quad and the scooter..  She would love to send thanks goes out to her mom & dad, Scott (Smiley) her Aunties & Uncles, Jane and a few others who all support her with her love of racing.

Laura Shepherd

Laura just finished graduating from Fanshawe College for Police Foundations (2 years).  She is  hoping to pursue a career as  Border Security in her future. 

For the mean time she works for her godfather Jamie Tupper in his collision shop (J&S Collision) and work on the race cars any down time she has.  She tries to go racing as much as she can throughout the summer time.  So far this year she has raced in Immokalee, Fl and Montgomery, Al.  Her next race is  in Maryland and straight from there we are heading to the Spring fling 5-day in Bristol, Tn starting may 12th. She started driving Jr. Dragsters when she was 14 and have been addicted ever since. She goes racing with Jamie Tupper.  She drives A 2008 Undercover Dragster. Her highlghts of her racing career so far are  2014 esta $10K bash winner at Esta Dragway, 2014 Dash for cash race for Wally winner at St.Thomas Dragway

Fridays Females in Racing-Natasha Jaques

Natasha Jaques

 Age:21

Natasha is from Mississauga,ON.  She races her Ford Mustang LX which has a 347 small block Ford, dart block engine.
She races in a few series She runs in the PTRA and the OSCA. She says that some of the highlights in her racing career have been getting her car to run 10's on the 1/4 for the first time ever at St Thomas Raceway, when she won PTRA open comp #1 qualifier with an .0001 light, when She won OSCA street eliminator Third/semi, and last but not least when she tried nitrous for the first time and ran 10.6's @127 mph.

Her DREAM drag car is a 7 second Twin Turbo Fox Body MUSTANG!!

Sunny Park 

I would like to introduce you to Sunny Park.  Sunny is 40 and lives in London.  She rides a Yamaha R6 which has a 600 cc incline 4 stroke engine.

 

She races in SOAR (Southern Ontario Association of Racing) series.

her biggest highlights of your racing career are In her first year of racing in 2010, she became SOAR's first Formula Femme Champion as well as placing 3rd overall in the National Women's Cup Challenge.
I asked Sunny what her dream bike is she stated SHE ALREADY HAS IT!

Christine Scollard

This Fridays Females of racing is Christine Scollard, she is 25 and from

 Peterborough, Ontario.

She drives a  1995 Mike Spitzer , Dragster the Engine Size 350 Fuel injected small block Chevy.

Race Series she races in is Shannonville Motorsports Park Drag Series. She has several highlights in her racing career for instance she was:

 - 2006 Junior Dragster Championship at Shannonville Motorsports Park

-2007 rookie of the year in pro at Shannonville Motorsports Park

- Two wins in the Super pro Class.

- Two perfect lights.

Her dream is to race a Top Alcohol Dragster

Fridays Females In Racing-Metzler Morse

 Metzeler Morse

I have had the best time watching this young lady race and grow up over the last 3 years.  She is an amazing young lady with a huge heart for all her fellow racers and the occasional little girl that comes by and tugs on her sleeve to play!  Metzeler is 13 and started out on a Dirt Bike at a very young age I believe I saw a picture of metz at like the age one 2 sitting on her dirt bike. 
Now she drives a Jr. Dragster, when her mom & dad took over the track 3 years ago is when Metz started driving a Jr.  She is a fierce competitor.  She races in the Messenger Freight super series.

Her favorite moment in her race history is when she won the Wally. I also asked Metz what her dream car would be she told me she hopes that one day she will have Diamond Jims Jet car.
